What Can a Service Dog Do for a Veteran?

Team Chris would like to continue our initiative to sponsor service dogs for our injured veterans returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan. Service dogs may be trained to help provide balance, fetch and retrieve dropped items, open doors and carry items for their disabled veteran. Similarly, combat stress relief dogs will provide emotional support for service members experiencing combat stress or PTSD.

America’s VetDogs® Partnership

We are proud to once again partner with America’s VetDogs®. To date, Team Chris has sponsored 10 Service dogs through the  “Name a Puppy” opportunity program.

America’s VetDogs® is dedicated to providing service dogs, FREE of charge, to servicemen and women who have sacrificed so much for this country.  Since 2006, more than 350 assistance dogs have been trained and placed as guide and service dogs with disabled veterans of all eras.
