In order to keep Chris’ memory alive, our family started the Cpl Christopher G. Scherer Semper Fi Fund (SSF) which will sponsor the Cpl Christopher G. Scherer “Scholarship” and the Cpl Christopher G. Scherer, “Leave No Marine Behind Project”.

Scholarships are awarded each year to Northport High School graduating seniors.

The Leave No Marine Behind Project provides for our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan with help from Team Chris.
